The Government of Cantabria has approved a training program for new teachers that will have a financial allocation of million euros. The program, which will run for four months, aims to provide newly qualified teachers with practical training that will allow them to start in the profession with the best guarantees. The program, called Scholarships for Initiation into the Teaching Profession (BIP), is aimed at people who have obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary or Vocational Training. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis and will last four months, with a dedication of 20 hours per week.
